How do I set it up? Is an app required?
No app is needed—it’s truly plug and play. Simply plug the adapter into your car’s USB port, ensure your iPhone’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are on, and follow the one-time pairing prompt. The entire setup takes less than a minute. After that, it will reconnect automatically every time you start your car.
Why can't I play videos from my phone?
This is a great question and relates to the core functionality of Apple CarPlay itself.
Our adapter is designed to do one thing: convert your factory wired CarPlay connection to a wireless one. It mirrors the exact features and restrictions of the standard CarPlay system.
Please note: While video won't appear on your car's display, the audio from videos on your phone can typically still be played through your car's speakers via CarPlay audio streaming.
What if my device cannot connect or encounters a problem?
*Please follow these steps to troubleshoot:
1. Confirm basic compatibility (see Q1).
2. Restart the device: Restart your iPhone and car infotainment system.
3. Check the connection: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled.
4. Try a different port: Try using the included dual-port extension cable to try a different USB port on your car.
5. Reset the adapter: Press and hold the reset button on the adapter (if present) or power cycle it.
6. Access support: If the problem persists, our customer service team will provide you with one-on-one technical support. The product has a 2-year warranty.
Is the connection stable? Will it randomly drop while driving?
Our 2026 upgraded chip and dual connectivity (Bluetooth 5.0 + Dual-band Wi-Fi) technology are designed for stability. The vast majority of users report a very stable connection. If disconnections occur, it's usually related to the following reasons:
Vehicle compatibility or port issues: Please ensure your vehicle's original wired CarPlay is working perfectly.
Signal interference: Some vehicle environments may experience strong radio interference.
Firmware not updated: We offer lifetime free firmware updates to optimize compatibility.
Solutions: Try changing your vehicle's data USB port, or adjust the adapter position using the extension cable we provide to reduce potential interference. Visit our support page for the latest firmware upgrade guide.
Will my steering wheel controls and Siri still work?
Yes, fully. All your car’s original controls—including steering wheel buttons, touchscreen, knobs, and voice activation for “Hey Siri”—work seamlessly exactly as they did with the wired connection. You lose no functionality, only the cable.
